C++ Software Engineer

Would you like to develop software that has a direct impact on machines, robots and other complex technical systems? Do you enjoy solving challenges related to real-time performance, reliability and hardware interaction?

As a C++ Software Engineer at Stacker, you will work on projects in the high-tech sector. You will develop high-quality software for systems where speed, stability and accuracy are essential.

You will have the opportunity to share your ideas about the architecture, technical choices and further development of the system. You will work together with software engineers, hardware engineers and system architects.

What will you do?

Depending on your experience and the project, you may work on:

  • Developing software in modern C++.
  • Building real-time software for technical systems.
  • Working on fail-safe, redundant and high-availability systems.
  • Integrating AI and machine learning models.
  • Connecting software with hardware and communication protocols.
  • Analysing and solving complex technical problems.
  • Improving performance, reliability and maintainability.
  • Working closely with system architects and other software developers.

Most projects last between one and three years. This gives you enough time to understand the system, take responsibility and see how your work contributes to the final product.

What are we looking for?

You have:

  • Experience with modern C++.
  • Experience with real-time systems.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, Cursor or ChatGPT.
  • A good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field.
  • A proactive attitude and good communication skills.

Experience with Embedded Linux, multithreading, unit testing, CI/CD or hardware integration is a plus.

Do you not meet every requirement, but still think this role could be a good match? We would still be happy to meet you.
