Cloud Software Engineer

Do you want to connect machines and technical systems to the cloud? Do you enjoy working on projects where software, data and high-tech come together?

As a Cloud Software Engineer at Stacker, you will work on projects for innovative high-tech companies. You will not build standard applications. Instead, you will create solutions that process large amounts of machine data, predict technical problems and make systems smarter.

You will also have the opportunity to share your ideas about the architecture, technology and direction of the project. At the same time, you will continue to learn and grow within a network of experienced software engineers.

What will you do?

Depending on your experience and the project, you may work on:

• Designing and building scalable solutions in Azure and/or AWS.
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Processing and storing large amounts of technical data.
• Building solutions for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection.
• Adding AI and machine learning models to existing systems.
• Automating cloud infrastructure and deployments.

Most projects last between one and three years. This gives you enough time to understand the system, take responsibility and make a real difference.

What are we looking for?

You have:

• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with C#, Java and/or Python.
• Experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, Cursor or ChatGPT.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Spark, SQL and/or NoSQL.
• A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• A proactive attitude and good communication skills.
